This position is located at the Chinle Service Unit, Tsaile Health Center, Nursing Services, Tsaile, Arizona. Incumbent improves patient care through the use of automation tools such as the computerization of clinical information to improve the standard of direct patient care. Incumbent reports to Supervisory Nurse. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).

Customizes and integrates clinical applications and site parameters, coordinating new software implementation and resolving integration issues across service lines and clinical software packages. Develops, coordinates, and provides clinical application training and ongoing support to end users, emphasizing accurate, secure, and effective use of EHR and other clinical information systems. Collaborates with Nursing Informatics, IRM, application coordinators, programmers, and clinical departments to test and refine software, troubleshoot problems, request enhancements, and maintain integrated clinical system operations. Performs comprehensive professional nursing duties for patients of all ages, including assessment, triage, emergency treatment, medication administration, documentation, and operation of specialized medical equipment.
