- Operates tractors equipped with specialized attachments to perform aeration, topdressing, overseeding, and deep-tining across greens, tees, fairways, and roughs without damaging the manicured surface.
- Conducts daily safety and mechanical checks (including fluids, tire pressure, belts, and grease points) and reports mechanical issues immediately to the equipment manager to prevent costly field breakdowns.
- Safely operates heavy machinery on uneven terrain, steep slopes, and near water hazards, ensuring strict adherence to OSHA guidelines and course-specific safety protocols to prevent rollovers.
- Properly hooks up, calibrates, and adjusts various implements (such as spreaders, sprayers, and utility trailers) to ensure accurate application rates of seed, sand, or fertilizer.
- Assists the maintenance team by hauling soil, gravel, debris, and green waste across the property, utilizing utility trailers while minimizing soil compaction along designated haul routes.
