This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. The Minneapolis VA Health Care System is seeking a board-certified Neurologist. Assignment will include providing inpatient consultative care, outpatient care and medical resident supervision. Experience and/or interest in Neuromuscular care and EMG testing is preferred, but all applicants will be considered. VA physicians enjoy a comprehensive benefits package. Duties of this position will include outpatient consultation and care, inpatient consult service coverage, and participation in the on-call rotation for Neurology. The Minneapolis VA is an affiliate with the University of MN and has a robust roster of trainees working in the department. Skills as a clinical educator are necessary. The Minneapolis VA Medical Center is a 200-bed facility that provides tertiary-level care for veterans throughout the Upper Midwest and is a major teaching affiliate of the University of Minnesota.
