About the Position: This position is located within Defense Health Agency Region Indo-Pacific within Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) Department of Mental Health in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices.
- Perform comprehensive mental health assessments and independently develop and document individualized nursing care plans.
- Mentor and guide junior staff, support training activities, and provide technical expertise within the clinical team.
- Maintain compliant electronic medical records and complete required administrative tasks to support clinic operations.
- Provide targeted patient and family education to support understanding of conditions, medications, safety measures, and discharge requirements.
- Ensures safe and effective patient care by applying clinical protocols, maintaining infection control standards, and managing emergency responses.
