About the Position: This position is located at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Receives patient's specimens of blood, urine, stool, microbiological and viral cultures, tissue, body fluids and cytological specimens.
- Performs laboratory testing in each of the following sections of the Laboratory: Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Microbiology etc.
- Manages patient results status by verifying and certifying results input into laboratory computer system.
- Conducts necessary quality control procedures.
