About the Position: This position is with Defense Health Agency, Dental Clinic, in Fort Benning, Georgia. Work is performed in an office environment from 0730-1630 Monday through Friday. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Assist dentist with simple and complex procedures such as tooth removal, surgical removal of impacted teeth, or excisional biopsies.
- Prepare patient for procedures or surgery by receiving patient and conducting preliminary screening
- Set up instruments, equipment, and materials such as assembling syringes and IVs for anesthesia, mixing materials for impressions and restorations.
- Participate in stand-up dentistry or four handed sit-down dentistry procedures.
- Adhere to aseptic precautions throughout treatment or procedures.
