This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve as an Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic for the Directorate of Public Works at Fort Riley, KS.

  • Responsible for installing, maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting, diagnosing, programing, repairing, and replacing parts and components to include meters, as needed, for the centralized energy management and control systems (EMCS).
  • Perform system checks, monitor alarms, and interpret trending data.
  • Responsible for creating or revising operator-interface graphics, custom software programs and point databases that are used with the EMCS, workstations and website interface and maintaining programs for EMCS.
  • Ensure inspection and calibration of all inputs/outputs of primary equipment devices (boilers, chillers, air handling units, hydronic systems, compartment and roof top units)
