This position is part of the Department of War, Media Activity (WMA). The incumbent will be responsible for providing policy and procedures for DoW audiovisual and visual information activities and operations such as Combat Camera operation, and for newspapers and print media throughout DoD such as the European and Pacific Stars and Stripes newspapers.

  • As a Logistics Management Specialist at the GS-0346-12 some of your typical work assignments may include: Reviews of all agency contracts to identify accountable and non-accountable property. Utilizes access to Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) to properly account for Government Furnished Property. Logistical planning includes the identification of specific agency requirements to support new workload programs, e.g. manpower, funds, skills, training, equipment, documentation, and facilities. Establishes/monitors program milestones and progress and coordinates elements of logistical planning with designated functional personnel. Prepares correspondence relating to inventory discrepancies to support adjustment actions. Compares data in different databases to assure consistency and accuracy. Analyzes the results of applying guidelines to difficult situations and recommend changes.
