Total annual salary will consist of a GS Base Pay rate combined with a non-locality 'Market Pay' supplement. Market pay is determined by an Activity Compensation Panel of peer physicians who will evaluate the selectee's clinical specialty, board certifications, regional market data, and depth of professional experience. Market Pay is then reviewed every 24 months to ensure compensation remains competitive and aligned with the local healthcare market. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Provide aerospace medical care to flyers, missile crews, and others with special standards of medical qualifications.
- Examine personnel to determine fitness for flying and special duties, or to recommend continuance, removal, or return to flying status and aviation service.
- Perform occupational physical examinations of various types including pre-placement, medical surveillance, medical qualification, disability retirement, fitness for duty, and any other special employee examinations that may be required.
- Coordinate with facility and community resources to provide comprehensive work-related care to employees
- Provide the full scope of primary and preventative health care services to military members and beneficiaries.
