This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoW Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Direct, coordinate and synchronize installation garrison operations, training support, protection, mobilization & demobilization, force modernization, operational planning, and security to support the Soldiers, Families and Civilians of the Fort Bragg community.
- Perform work in accordance with drawings, sketches, blueprints, specifications, specific instructions, and own knowledge of construction or needed maintenance/repairs.
- Repair and/or replace ammo collection boxes, wooden and metal bleachers, and all aspects of range buildings, sheds, and towers.
- Repair, maintain, and paint targets, signs, markers, latrines and other facilities located on assigned ranges.
- Fabricate and maintain standard and special wooden targets and structures by following standard measurements and specifications.
- Operate materials of sanders, pneumatic nail and staple guns, chain saws, and a variety of cutting saws to perform work.
