  • Serving as a Training Administrator GS-1712-9/11 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Office of the Associate Director for Training Ops, Training Management Operations Directorate, Training Resources Coordination Division, Training Resources Scheduling Branch, located in Glynco, GA. The primary purpose of this position is to support training operations by planning, coordinating, implementing, evaluating, and continuously improving instructional support, student administration, enterprise scheduling, classroom utilization, facility management, Practical Exercise scheduling, role player coordination, automated training systems, and enterprise training resources. Typical duties include: Administering and evaluating enterprise training operations by coordinating instructional requirements, student administration, scheduling, classroom utilization, instructor assignments, facility use, PRIT scheduling, role player support, equipment, and other resources to ensure effective delivery of FLETC law enforcement training programs. Managing enterprise training schedules and resource requirements by reviewing POIs, curriculum changes, enrollment projections, facility capacity, instructor availability, and resource allocations to identify conflicts, forecast needs, and recommend improvements to scheduling, capacity, and resource utilization. Serving as the functional administrator and subject matter expert for Student Administration and Scheduling System (SASS) by maintaining student and scheduling data, supporting users, developing SOPs and job aids, delivering system training, resolving scheduling or system issues, coordinating functional testing, and supporting system enhancements. Providing program support, analysis, and stakeholder coordination by developing reports, dashboards, trend analyses, workload studies, and briefing materials; advising leadership and stakeholders on training administration, business rules, automated systems, and process improvements; and supporting special projects, modernization efforts, and continuity operations.
