The position collaborates with management to tackle issues, solve problems, and offer suggestions for organizational improvement.

  • Provides comprehensive administrative, analytical, and coordination support to Nursing Education and Professional Development (NEPD). The role supports trainee onboarding, program compliance, workflow management, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure efficient and compliant NEPD operations. Major duties and responsibilities include: Assists with planning, coordinating, analyzing, and implementing administrative activities that support Nursing Education and Professional Development (NEPD) operations. Provides personnel and staffing support, including onboarding and offboarding coordination for Health Professions Trainees (HPT) and Without Compensation (WOC) personnel Manages training administration, timekeeping, records management, purchasing support, property tracking, and recurring reports. Gathers, organizes, validates, and analyzes data using qualitative and quantitative methods to support administrative reviews, reports, and improvement projects. Coordinates compliance-related activities by interpreting and applying VA, VHA, HR, OIT, and facility policies, procedures, and directives. Prepares reports, summaries, recommendations, and other documentation based on established procedures and applicable guidance. Interviews employees and stakeholders, obtains factual information, and briefs supervisors on findings and the status of assignments. Supports process mapping, workload measurement, documentation reviews, and issue identification for workflow, data accuracy, onboarding, timekeeping, purchasing, property, and procedural compliance.
