- As Law Enforcement Officer (Instructor), GL-1801, your typical work assignments may include, but not limited to: Serves as part of a program management team for training programs, supervises students, other instructors, and coordinates all logistics for a Law Enforcement Training Program. Instructing, providing academic and non-academic counseling, and assists IPA and OJS Advanced Training Center instructors in the delivery of training. Identifying training program needs, development and revision of training materials, and inspections, general and specialized techniques in law enforcement. Supervising students, instructors, class scheduling, class evaluation, and all areas of logistics involved in conducting a Law Enforcement Training Program. Leading law enforcement staff; overall law enforcement program development, management, and work planning for the assigned duty location. Serves on several curriculum review committees, which will involve making oral and written presentations in a clear and concise manner.
