About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position is located at the U.S Army Health Clinic Aberdeen Proving Ground Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
- Provide comprehensive screening for adult workers (ages 18–80), including obtaining and reviewing medical and occupational histories.
- Review all pertinent data to determine required ancillary tests and appropriate program placement.
- Evaluate patients and determines need for referral to an Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) or physician.
- Perform vision testing, vital signs, spirometry, audiometry, and EKGs; verifies completeness and accuracy of results.
- Refer abnormal vital signs, vision results, EKGs, audiometry, and spirometry findings to OHN or provider per clinic SOP.
