About the Position - This position is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland at Kirk U.S. Army Health Clinic. Incumbent will provide clinical social work services in an outpatient behavioral health setting. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
- Collect bio-psycho-social information about patients.
- Conduct individual and group clinical counseling.
- Provide case management services to effectively manage patients enrolled in outpatient programs.
- Perform a variety of quality management/quality assurance duties.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on psychiatric diagnosis.
