About the Position: This position is located at the 66th Medical Group, Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

  • Conduct expanded function dental duties such as intra-oral procedures, restorations, fabricating crowns/bridges, matrix bands, polishing, application of fluoride/sealants, taking impressions/bite registrations, and fabrication of dental appliances.
  • Process intra-oral and extra-oral conventional/digital dental radiographs in accordance with accepted radiation safety standards.
  • Educate patients on post-treatment care.
  • Provide chair side dental assistance during general dentistry and specialty related dental procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry.
  • Prepare patient for procedure by arranging instruments, materials, and medications, and measuring vital signs.
