- WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Veterinary Medical Officer (Leader), you will: Lead zoonotic disease surveillance, epidemiological investigations, and public health response activities to prevent and control emerging infectious diseases. Direct veterinary public health research programs and evaluate scientific data to support evidence-based public health decisions and policy development. Provide expert consultation and technical guidance on zoonotic diseases, animal health, and public health preparedness to internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate domestic and international collaborations to strengthen disease surveillance systems, outbreak preparedness, and One Health initiatives.
