This position focuses on supervising compliance activities that support safe access to medical marijuana. You will oversee inspectors, coordinate regulatory reviews, and guide processes that ensure facilities meet state requirements. As a Medical Marijuana Compliance Inspector Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:

  • Staff Oversight: Lead inspectors by assigning tasks, reviewing work, and supporting professional development
  • Regulatory Guidance: Provide clarification on policies, regulations, and compliance requirements to medical marijuana organizations
  • Training Development: Create training materials and identify inspector training needs
  • Inspection Review: Conduct and review operational inspections and provide input on facility alterations
  • Collaboration Duties: Coordinate with architects, engineers, law enforcement, and agencies on compliance needs
  • Data Tracking: Maintain inspection data, review documentation, and support audit processes

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • This position is home headquartered. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

  • This position requires travel throughout the Central Region of Pennsylvania, which includes the following counties: Adams, Bedford, Blair, Bradford, Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lebanon, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Potter, Snyder, Sullivan, Tioga, Union, and York.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience as a Medical Marijuana Compliance Inspector (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Two years of technical or paraprofessional experience in regulatory compliance and regulatory inspection work; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirement:

  • This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license.
