Physician - Cardiologist (Non-Invasive) Advanced Cardiac Imaging

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. • The Cardiology Section at VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) invites applications for a full-time position as a Non-Invasive Cardiologist. The successful candidate will work in the echocardiography lab and in the general cardiology services at VABHS including ambulatory cardiology clinic and inpatient care. The position involves significant engagement in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The successful candidate may also participate in advanced cardiac imaging studies such as cardiac CT, coronary CT angiography, cardiac MRI, and nuclear cardiac imaging (SPECT and PET), depending on held board certifications (e.g., CBCCT, CBCMR, CBNC). This could also involve working with our Radiology program to advise on acquisition of the studies as well as coordinating the cardiac reports with other Cardiologists with skills in reading these studies. Academic appointment at Harvard Medical School (HMS) as Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor will be provided commensurate with experience and accomplishments. The successful candidate must be Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and have or be eligible for certifications in Advanced Cardiac Imaging through CBCCT or the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (CBCMR). Preferred training includes level III echocardiography.
