  • Assists the General Counsel in providing legal advice, assistance, and representation to NRC offices on a wide range of significant matters, including, but not limited to: federal government procurement, grants, interagency agreements, appropriations, budget and fiscal law, organizational conflicts of interest, personnel and physical building security, employment law, equal employment opportunity, disability law, and federal building leases and real estate; administrative hearings including l bid protests, Contract Disputes Act claims, employment/adverse actions, EEO claims, personnel security actions and federal court litigation; ethics, legislation and executive orders, general administrative law, tort claims, information law (e.g., FOIA, Privacy Act, intellectual property) and Commission procedures; nuclear non-proliferation, international agreements, and agency adjudications; Serves as the agency's Designated Ethics Official or Alternate Designated Ethics Official and leads the agency's ethics program.
