- Responsible for organizing, developing and monitoring a comprehensive institutional multi-faith religious program with inmates at Broad River Correctional Institution.
- The services provided will include weekly worship, sacraments, crisis counseling, individual and group pastoral counseling, visitation, religious education and other related religious activities.
- Works with community religious volunteers from various denominational and faith groups.
- Works closely with institutional operations, programs and administrative staff.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
The equivalent of a Master of Divinity degree from an accredited theological school, additional clinical pastoral education and/or work experience in a clinical pastoral setting.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
Must have the equivalent of a Master of Divinity degree from an accredited theological seminary; ordination as a priest, minister, or Rabbi, with current ecclesiastical endorsement; one (1) year of Pastoral experience; and must have completed two (2) CPE units under the supervision of an ACPE certified educator.
Will be required to have 4 units of CPE within 24 months of hire.
