About the Position: This position is located at Fort Belvoir community hosptial, performing full-scope APN/Midwifery care, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological services in an inpatient and outpatient setting. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation for Certain Personnel of the DoD workforce. Incentives may be considered for highly qualified candidates.
- Provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment of obstetrical and gynecological patients.
- Manage care for patients through antepartum, intrapartum, delivery to include obstetrical emergencies and immediate care of newborn.
- Perform obstetrical evaluation and provide plan of care.
- Serve as a consultant to a variety of health professionals.
- Participate in and conduct educational programs to improve midwifery practice.
