Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Insurance Sales Producer, you will:
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound insurance leads and prospective customers.
- Conduct outbound calls and follow up with leads to generate new business.
- Identify customers' insurance needs through effective needs-based conversations.
- Prepare and present insurance quotes and coverage options.
- Explain policy features, coverage options, deductibles, limits, and available discounts clearly and professionally.
- Convert qualified prospects into new customers while maintaining ethical sales practices.
- Cross-sell appropriate insurance products based on identified customer needs.
- Identify opportunities within the existing book of business for additional coverage.
- Develop relationships that encourage customer retention, referrals, and long-term loyalty.
- Follow up consistently on open quotes and pending opportunities.
- Meet established individual and agency production goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions, quotes, follow-ups, and sales activities in agency systems.
- Protect confidential customer and agency information.
- Follow Farmers, carrier, agency, licensing, compliance, privacy, and documentation requirements.
- Participate in agency meetings, coaching, training, and performance-development activities.
- Maintain required insurance licenses and continuing-education requirements.
- Work collaboratively with customer service and agency leadership to provide a seamless customer experience.
Required:
- Active Nevada Property & Casualty Insurance Producer License
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both verbal and written
- Strong sales and communication skills
- Professional telephone presence
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with multiple computer systems, CRM platforms, email, quoting systems, and web-based applications
- Ability to work in a performance-driven environment
- Commitment to ethical sales practices and regulatory compliance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday
Preferred:
- Previous insurance agency experience
- Farmers Insurance experience
- Personal Lines insurance experience
- Prior experience selling auto, home, renters, umbrella, or other P&C products
- Previous commission-based sales experience
- Experience with CRM or insurance agency management systems
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Life and Health insurance license is a plus

Licensed Sales Producers may be evaluated using role-appropriate performance indicators including new business production, quote activity, quote-to-bind conversion, follow-up completion, cross-selling, customer retention, referrals, documentation quality, compliance, attendance, and overall contribution to agency growth.
