Ready Steady Cargo Inc Class A CDL Driver (Full-Time, Home Daily)
Location: Lathrop, CA (On-site)
Schedule: 7 Days per Week (Home Daily), occasional weekends
Hours: Minimum ~42 hours/week (3x 14 hr shifts), with opportunities for additional shifts and overtime based on performance
Pay: $70,000$90,000/year for full-time drivers, depending on number of shifts, performance bonuses and incentives, and performance-based raises
Note: You will not be employed by Amazon. You will work directly for Ready Steady Cargo Inc, an Amazon Freight Partner.
Job Summary Ready Steady Cargo Inc is hiring full-time, safety-first Class A CDL Drivers for our Amazon Freight Partner program in Lathrop, CA. We haul exclusively for Amazon using Amazon-branded equipment and technology. This role is for drivers who take pride in safe driving, on-time performance, and clear communication.
What you'll do - Haul Amazon loads (primarily no-touch freight) using Amazon-branded equipment/technology - Drive local/regional routes and be home after every shift - Maintain strong on-time performance and professional communication with dispatch - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects promptly - Use smartphone/handheld apps for GPS, communication, and basic reporting - Follow SOPs with a "no shortcuts" safety mindset; report incidents/safety concerns immediately
What you'll need - Must be at least 21 years old - Valid Class A CDL (no current suspension/revocation) - Clean MVR - Able to pass DOT physical, background check, and pre-employment drug screen - Must be able to speak/read/write English for safety, road signs, and required reporting - Comfortable using handheld tech/smartphone applications
Compensation + Benefits - Pay: $70,000$90,000/year, depending on number of shifts worked, performance bonuses and incentives, and performance-based raises - Wage progression tied to experience, safety record, and performance reviews (30/90/180/360-day, then annual) - Monthly safety and performance bonuses (details discussed during interview) - W2 employment, PTO + paid sick time, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k)
How the team supports you Hands-on owner support (in-person + remote) and 24/7 remote dispatcher coverage for route updates, issue escalation, and operational support.
