About the Position: This position is located at 436th Medical Group, in Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
- Conduct brief assessments and formulates evidence-based interventions appropriate to a primary care setting.
- Use objective and measurable outcomes to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make adjustments if appropriate for increased adherence and efficacy.
- Determine if patient is appropriate to receive Primary Care Mental Health Integration Program model services in the primary care setting.
- Develop, teach, and provide oversight for classes that promote education and skill-building to enhance psychological and physical health, and promote mental change related to improved health status.
- Use a stepped-care approach to maximize delivery of care within the Primary Care Mental Health Integration Program.
