As a Supervisory Data Scientist, GS-1560-14, you will serve as Deputy Division Director, directing data science, investigative analytics, workforce operations, and program management to detect fraud, waste, abuse, and improper payments.
- Directing advanced data science and investigative analytics supporting fraud detection, improper payment identification, payment suspensions, and program integrity operations.
- Supervising multidisciplinary federal and contractor staff by assigning work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, resolving personnel matters, and developing workforce capabilities.
- Developing and overseeing predictive models, machine learning methods, anomaly detection techniques, algorithms, and analytical workflows for enterprise-scale Medicare and Medicaid data.
- Managing investigative analytics programs, contractor support, project planning, budgets, acquisitions, risks, and resources to ensure timely and accurate delivery of mission-critical products.
- Advising executive leadership and partner organizations by translating complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for investigations, resource allocation, policy, and fraud prevention strategies.
