- WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Lead IT Cybersecurity Specialist, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Leading and coordinating the implementation of information security policies and programs; reviewing new systems, networks, and software designs for potential security risks; developing system and security designs and processes; coordinating implementation of security programs across platforms; and recommending ways to protect the organization's information and information systems. Initiating, developing, implementing, and evaluating enterprise security programs; implementing security technologies designed to anticipate, assess, and minimize vulnerabilities; enforcing access controls; coordinating security implementation across platforms; and developing policies, standards, and procedures for information security systems and applications. Assessing new system designs for security risks, identifying vulnerabilities, evaluating security incident response policies, performing technology assessments, reviewing implementation activities, and recommending operational policies and mitigation strategies to protect organizational information systems. Serving as Team Lead providing technical leadership, coaching, and direction to cybersecurity staff while also providing expert advice, counsel, and instruction on cybersecurity architecture, security policies, enterprise infrastructure protection, and strategic security initiatives.
