This position is in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). The OCFO is responsible for providing expertise on budget formulation, execution and performance; communicating FSIS policy on financial management and accounting operations, systems and plans; and for integrating and executing technical leadership through strategic planning.
- Supports oversight of building security systems and access control; coordinates emergency plans, continuity materials, and calling-tree updates.
- Serves as a liaison between OCFO leadership, GSA, and the building lessor to address maintenance, cleaning, and facility-related concerns connected to lease oversight and COR responsibilities.
- Supports oversight of the NFSC building security system and access controls while coordinating with OSSP, SIPRS, Federal Protective Service, and other stakeholders to resolve security-related issues.
- Researches, compiles, and documents financial data; maintains expenditure information across USDA financial systems.
- Reviews and analyzes obligations and expenditures to evaluate funding adequacy and identify adjustments to prevent under- or over-obligation.
