About the Position: This position is located at Martin Army Community Hospital in Patient Administration Fort Benning, GA 31905-5637 This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Leads, plans, directs and schedules the work of Medical Insurance Technicians (OA).
- Makes changes in work schedules to accommodate peak workload periods.
- Assigns work to be accomplished and instructs employee in work processes and procedures and provides technical assistance.
- Conducts pre-admission processing of all non-active duty Uniformed Services beneficiaries scheduled for inpatient treatment or same day surgery.
- Interviews, explains and answers questions regarding the TPC Program to patients and their insurance companies. Explains options, entitlements, billing procedures, benefits and rights.
