DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- • The Administrative Director of Radiology/Radiation oncology "Radiology" oversees and directs all Radiology functions for the organization which includes inpatient, outpatient, and all locations across central Berkshire County. This position is responsible for ensuring organizational compliance with all legal requirements and government regulations that affect Radiology Services (DPH, OSHA, JCAHO, Radiation, etc.). Also responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all functions within Radiology through effective oversight of department managers and partnership with physicians. Ensures that services are of the best quality, are cost contained, and are carried out in an expeditious manner. Responsible for strategic planning and actions for growth. Leads the clinical, financial, operational, human resource management and quality improvement focus of the service.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

Experience:
- Minimum 5 years management experience preferably in healthcare setting.
- Recent experience in managing a Radiology business a benefit.

Education and Training:
- Baccalaureate degree required.
- MBA preferred.

License, Certification & Registration:
- ARRTNM - Association of Registered Radiology Technology or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

- Proven leadership skills demonstrating ability to motivate staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical skills for evaluating and resolving issues.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large budget.
- Ability to manage interests of diverse parties.
- Ability to create and implement business plans for new programs and processes.
- Demonstrated quality improvement focus including but not limited to routine measures, lean, six sigma.
