Total annual salary will consist of a GS Base Pay rate combined with a non-locality 'Market Pay' supplement. Market pay is determined by an Activity Compensation Panel of peer physicians who will evaluate the selectee's clinical specialty, board certifications, regional market data, and depth of professional experience. Market Pay is then reviewed every 24 months to ensure compensation remains competitive and aligned with the local healthcare market. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Interpret diagnostic imaging examinations, communicating findings to referring providers, supporting timely diagnosis and patient care planning.
- Consult with clinical teams reviewing cases to select appropriate imaging procedures, help provide remote on-call coverage as assigned.
- Lead and supervise imaging staff during routine and urgent procedures, ensuring safe practices, high-quality images, and complete diagnostic reports.
- Direct assigned imaging service by developing clinical protocols, coordinating resources and equipment needs, and improving collaboration with other medical services.
- Serve as the technical authority for the imaging specialty, advancing quality improvement, education, research, and compliance with professional and organizational standards.
