About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position is located at the Naval Health Clinic Quantico Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Independently develop, execute, and maintain quality assurance and quality control systems for all donor-center and lab operations.
- Ensure adherence to FDA, AABB, CAP, Joint Commission, DoW, command policy, and other accrediting bodies.
- Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive QA/QC programs, including control materials, performance ranges, and statistical parameters.
- Monitor QC trends, detects shifts or failures, assesses impact on safety, and initiates corrective/preventive actions.
- Validate test systems, equipment, and processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with specifications.
