JOB SUMMARY
- Plans, organizes, directs, controls, and evaluates the educational programs for appropriate nursing unit cluster, including community, orientation, and in-service for professional development. Assists in developing programs to meet the Joint Commission standard requirements for education. Participates in direct nursing care.

Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing unless otherwise approved by the Director

Minimum Work Experience

2 years in hospital clinical setting
- Women and Children (Mother/Baby, Perinatal and Neonatal ICU)

2 years in hospital clinical setting

Required Licenses/Certifications
- (Please note American Heart Association Instructor certification identifies the employee as both an Instructor and Provider).

Women and Children: Mother/Baby:
- Registered Nurse
- CPR-BCLS
- ACLS
- NRP

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Deal effectively with hospital personnel
- Possess excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills
