Mechanical Engineer II

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide technical oversight and leadership to mechanical design team. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and complete design goals.

Constructs and completes an advanced plumbing system schematic and Bill of Materials for complex wet processing tools.

Responsible to create design solutions and basic engineering tasks in a timely manner.

Approve and initialize the purchase parts specification process, and working with the Materials team, ensuring all parts have adequate and cost-effective sourcing.

Ensure all manufactured parts follow RENA and Industry Best Practices for design and Manufacturability.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education)

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 4+ years’ experience in mechanical systems design. 

Has advanced knowledge of Solidworks 3D modeling practices.

Can demonstrate a proficiency in flow modeling best practices. 

Advanced knowledge of common engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.

Excellent interpersonal, sales techniques and project management skills.

Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

Standard office environment including work at a computer terminal. Work involves extended periods of sitting, occasional walking, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
