About the Position: Incumbent will serve as an Engineering Technician responsible for performing design and layout plans for mechanical systems and equipment.
- Perform studies, design calculations, and analyses for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
- Prepare comprehensive design documents, technical drawings, specifications, and government construction cost estimates.
- Conduct day-to-day surveillance of field engineering activities for maintenance, repair, and minor construction initiatives.
- Perform rigorous quality assurance inspections spanning multiple disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, and structural/carpentry systems.
- Represent the department in post-award conferences and reviews contractor work schedules to maintain an uninterrupted progress flow.
