About the Position: Serves as the Classification Branch Chief performing operational assignments in Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA). CHRA is responsible for operational HR effectiveness worldwide to include establishing and maintaining standards and measurements, total quality management, organizational development and workforce utilization for the Army's delivery of civilian personnel administrative services.
- Providing expert technical guidance on complex, controversial, or unprecedented classification issues.
- Planning and assigning work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, and/or overseeing the training and development of subordinate HR specialist.
- Providing authoritative advisory services to management on organizational design, the impact of reorganizations, and the development of Most Efficient Organizations (MEOs) to ensure sound and effective position structure.
- Serving as the subject matter expert on classification appeal procedures, compensation strategies, and the use of automated classification tools and systems.
- Developing and/or implementing command-wide human resources policies and programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.
