This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare, Medicare Parts C and D Oversight and Enforcement Group. As a Nurse, GS-0610-13, you will serve as CMS point of contact for stakeholders on policies, programs, and operations affecting CMS-administered healthcare programs.
- Providing expert nursing consultation/advice on the interpretation of clinical program requirements and provision of health care services.
- Leading reviews or oversight activities to assess compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements including application of Medicare coverage rules or similar healthcare programs.
- Developing and implementing a variety of tools, briefings, and written materials to train, conduct technical clinical health care reviews and improve oversight.
- Conducting special studies and developing recommendations to improve healthcare programs.
