Join our production team and work a 4-day, 10-hour schedule, Monday through Thursday. That means your regular workweek ends Thursday afternoon, giving you a 3-day weekend to recharge, spend time with family, tackle personal projects, or simply enjoy more freedom.

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• Employment: Full-time
• Overtime: May be available or required as production needs arise

What You'll Do
As a Paint Line Operator, you'll use professional finishing techniques and equipment to give our caskets and casket components a high-quality finish. You'll work both independently and alongside a supportive team. Your responsibilities may include:

• Staining, shading, sealing, sealer sanding, and topcoat finishing using spray guns and pneumatic sanders, according to documented standards
• Identifying the proper finishing materials and wood species for each job
• Inspecting materials for defects and flaws, including natural characteristics of raw wood
• Reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to your team leader, before staining whenever possible
• Masking areas of caskets and components to refinish defects
• Operating and understanding paint booths, airflow, paint line carts, and related computer equipment, and replacing booth filters as needed
• Moving products and materials throughout the department
• Following all safety regulations and properly handling chemical storage and waste disposal
• Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe
• Helping the team meet production and quality goals
• Taking on other responsibilities as needed

We're looking for hard-working, dependable, safety-minded people with a sharp eye for detail who take pride in a quality finish and enjoy being part of a team.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous industrial paint preparation or application experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to read, understand, and write English as needed for safety, job responsibilities, and essential workplace communication
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and produce consistent, quality work
• Highly motivated, able to work independently, and a team-oriented self-starter
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Basic technology skills, including the ability to use computers, tablets, and smartphones for communication and work processes
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on production position. Team Members must be able to:

• Lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds consistently, with heavier weights at times
• Stand, walk, bend, and twist for extended periods throughout a 10-hour shift
• Distinguish among colors
• Work continuously with both hands
• Read instructions, safely operate equipment, and visually inspect finished products

Work Environment
This position works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that is not temperature-controlled. Some areas may be loud and require hearing protection. Required personal protective equipment must be worn in accordance with the hazard analysis established for the position.
