Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to lead the operation of our CNC Press Brake and Laser Cutting equipment. This role is central to our production process, responsible for creating highprecision sheet metal components used in custom-built machinery.

Responsibilities and QualificationsKey Responsibilities

• CNC Machine Operation — Set up and operate CNC laser cutters and press brakes to cut and form steel, aluminum, and stainless sheet metal to exact specifications.

• Blueprint Interpretation — Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, fabrication drawings, and flat patterns to determine machine setup, bend sequences, and part requirements.

• Quality Assurance — Inspect parts throughout production using calipers, protractors, tape measures, and other precision tools to maintain tight tolerances.

• Material Handling & Maintenance — Safely load and unload heavy sheet metal, perform basic daily machine maintenance, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5–10 years of hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC press brakes and/or laser cutting machines in a manufacturing environment.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of bend allowances, bend deductions, and precision measuring tools.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for 10-hour shifts, and perform repetitive physical tasks safely.

• Schedule: 4Day Work Week (Mon–Thu)

$28 - $32 an hour

Compensation details: 28-32 Hourly Wage
