This position serves as a Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC), located in the Department of Justice, Chief Information Officer, Cybersecurity Services Staff, Administration, Shared Services and Internal Controls Directorate in Washington, DC. The incumbent is responsible for planning and supporting major specialized and exceptionally technical programs of marked difficulty, responsibility, and national significance.

  • The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC), GS-2210-15 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Provides technical advice and recommendations to leadership and other senior decision authorities on complex cybersecurity matters. Establishes cybersecurity performance objectives and measures and monitor program outcomes against established goals. Leads long-range cybersecurity strategic planning activities aligned with mission requirements and enterprise IT priorities. Analyzes current and emerging cybersecurity requirements, technical doctrines, mandates, and regulatory frameworks. Coordinates cybersecurity planning activities with internal organizations, agencies, interagency partners, and other stakeholders. Determines program priorities, allocates resources, resolves budget, procurement, and staffing challenges.
