- Serves as the assistant to the Chief and Deputy, Operations Center as senior operations officer of the DLA Energy Logistics Operations Center (ELOC).
- Responsible for global oversight of DLA Energy objectives and fuels operations.
- Resolves operations execution shortfalls, limitations and other conditions that impact DLA Energy's ability to perform its wartime bulk petroleum logistics support mission.
- Maintains lists of contacts and ability to resolve problems and crises that span the entire enterprise.
- Adjudicates interpretive differences among DLA Energy subordinate elements regarding DoD, DLA and DLA Energy policy and guidance as they affect operational, contingency, exercise and support planning.
