The Staff Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the Radiology Department by coordinating reporting, payroll and timekeeping processes, financial and budget-related activities, database management, and departmental communications. This role is responsible for the preparation and distribution of operational, financial, compliance, and statistical reports; maintenance of departmental records and systems; coordination of vendor invoices, traveler staffing administration, and supply ordering; and support of leadership with budgeting, special projects, scheduling, recruitment, and staff development activities. The Staff Assistant serves as a key resource for departmental personnel, ensuring accurate data management, efficient workflow processes, excellent customer service, and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute departmental reports, statistics, budgets, and financial documentation.
- Maintain departmental databases, records, contracts, and compliance-related tracking systems.
- Coordinate UKG timekeeping administration, employee record maintenance, and staff communication processes.
- Manage traveler staffing administration, invoicing, vendor payments, and supply procurement activities.
- Provide administrative support to Radiology leadership, including scheduling, recruitment coordination, meeting support, and special projects.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Support departmental quality, safety, confidentiality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned to support the goals of the Radiology Department and AnMed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have excellent organizational, prioritization, time management, and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships.
- Must be proficient with MS Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree preferred.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
