About the Position: This position is located within the Department of Pharmacy at Ireland Army Health Clinic, in Fort Knox, KY. This position is to provide comprehensive clinical and distributive pharmacy services to outpatient settings. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 0800-1630. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Evaluate medication orders for accuracy, indication, dosing range, and potential interactions to ensure patient safety.
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical preparations, including complex compounds, in accordance with professional and safety standards.
- Monitor patient drug therapy by reviewing medical records, laboratory data, and medication profiles to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Manage quality improvement projects by initiating, executing, and completing initiatives to enhance pharmacy services and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide drug information and education to healthcare professionals, patients, and staff to promote the safe and effective use of medications.
