This position is located in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Southeast Regional Office (SERO), Habitat Conservation Division (HCD), with one vacancy in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

• As a Supervisory Fish and Wildlife Administrator, you will perform the following duties: Supervise and manage personnel in setting organizational objectives, delegating work, developing plans, supporting personnel needs, addressing concerns, and structuring long-term staffing needs. Manage the Habitat Conservation Division program for the Southeast Regional Office (SERO). Oversee Essential Fish Habitat consultations pursuant to the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act. Ensure projects and consultations comply with established timeframes, and include clear, well-reasoned recommendations to protect habitats supporting estuarine and marine fish and fisheries consistent with agency policies and guidelines. Provide input and advice on habitat monitoring plans, conservation measures, mitigation, restoration, and scientific needs. Ensure prescriptions for fishways and recommendations for environmental features for hydroelectric projects that affect anadromous fish and protected species are filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and ensure licensed hydropower facilities comply with terms and conditions affecting living marine resources.
