This position is designated as SES, Career-Reserved. USDA structures its SES positions into position levels. This is a position level 2 with a salary range of $204,122 to $216,010 per year. Exceptions to the salary cap may be considered in certain circumstances. SES employees are also eligible to receive bonuses and performance-based awards. - Broad responsibility for devising and recommending organization and management strategies that will enhance program delivery for the agencies of Research, Education, and Economics (REE).
- Manages the administrative and financial management function supporting the REE agencies.
- Provides leadership and direction to over 600 Federal personnel working nationwide.
- Oversees delivery of the full breadth of administrative management and support services to REE Mission Area.
- Formulates management policies and support programs within the framework of policies and regulations of the Department and cognizant Federal agencies such as the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
