This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The project is small and consists of two positions. Both positions are supported by a basin staff to help with the administrative duties as well as the day to day on goings of the project.
- Implement of a variety of natural resource management programs and activities concerning multiple use integration and coordination.
- Patrol land and water to enforce regulations.
- Execute project interpretive programs which includes the enrichment of visitors experience through special presentations, guided walks, environmental and cultural educational programs at the project, schools, or other off-site locations.
- Educate the public on natural resources policy and/or regulations.
- Plan studies related to visitor services and use of recreational facilities and other project areas.
