About the Position: This position is located in the Army Public Health Clinic within Guthrie Army Health Clinic at Fort Drum, New York. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
- Plan, direct, administer, and evaluate a segment of the serviced population as part of the Epidemiology Program.
- Facilitate effective and timely communication with installation agencies, and state public health departments and military regional health centers to manage and/or report data or coordinate care within the region regarding observed outbreaks.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement educational programs for community and military groups on the nature, transmission, of infectious diseases.
- Case manage the Active Duty positive soldiers who require Infectious Disease appointments and conducts case contact interviews, counseling, education and support for soldiers and their families.
- Provide public health nursing referral for Soldiers and families who are transferring under Permanent Change of Station (PCS) to gaining installation or component.
