DTG & Tempering Operator

Full-Time | 2nd Shift
Standard Bent Glass is looking for DTG & Tempering Operators to join our manufacturing team. This position supports the production of specialty glass products through Direct-to-Glass (DTG) printing and glass tempering processes. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do- Operate and assist with equipment used in DTG printing and glass tempering processes.
- Prepare and handle glass and materials for production.
- Follow work instructions, production specifications, and established procedures.
- Monitor products throughout the production process to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Inspect glass for printing, dimensional, visual, or other quality concerns and report issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Safely handle and position glass throughout the manufacturing process.
- Monitor equipment and processes and communicate any problems or abnormalities.
- Complete required production and quality documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work closely with Production and Quality to meet production and quality goals.
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, production, glass, printing, or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to learn equipment, processes, and production procedures.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to work the assigned shift and overtime as needed.
Pay: $19.00/hour + $2.00/hour 2nd Shift Differential
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM, Monday–Thursday
Friday overtime may be required based on production needs.
