About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Solicitation for a position at Winn Army Community Hospital at Fort Stewart, GA. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.
- Perform duties in the advanced examination, diagnosis, and treatment of the full range of obstetrical patients.
- Conduct complete ultrasound examinations and obstetrical examinations of patients reporting to the clinic, as well as consultations on patients in the clinic or hospital.
- Review, interpret, and report all forms of ultrasound examinations.
- Advise on problem cases, establishes program precedents resulting in standards, policies and guidance, and furnishes information of teaching value to residents, interns, and students.
