About the Position: This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. • Responsible for the full range of cases and the immediate initial recognition, evaluation, care, and disposition of patients.
• Provide recommendations on additional diagnostic or treatment procedures in clinical conferences and/or discussions with staff physicians.
• Direct and provide oversight of the operation of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to include nurses, paramedics, paraprofessionals, administrative and ambulance personnel and pre-hospital medical management of patients.
• Provide consultative advice on professional and administrative matters concerning patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Make recommendations regarding changes to policies, procedures and programs needed for efficient department operations.
